Karen has worked in offering Spiritual Direction and training Spiritual Directors for the past decade.  She received a Master of Arts in Christian Practices from Lipscomb University and her training in Spiritual Direction from the Institute for Christian Spirituality at  Lipscomb University.  She received training in offering the Ignatian Exercises and training Spiritual Directors to become Ignatian Guides from Ambernest.  Before becoming a Spiritual Director, Karen served as an upper school Bible and English teacher and later as the Director of Spiritual Formation at Lipscomb Academy, Grades K-12. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their five grandchildren.  She also loves to travel, meet new people, entertain in her home, and find treasures while antiquing.
